Here are a few essential details about the Health Design Bootcamp.

  • The 2-day Health Design Bootcamp will take place June 7 – 8, 2018.

  • Cost of registration: 

    • $897 for professionals

    • $595 students/trainees

  • The workshop will be located in the Thomas Jefferson University Health Design Lab aka "The Vault" located in the basement of 925 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

  • Every application to attend the workshop will be carefully considered, and an email response will be provided within 72 hours of submission.

  • The workshop will be highly experiential – you will present your discoveries, create solutions to healthcare challenges, and test your prototypes.

  • All work will be team-based. While you will have time to focus on personal design challenges, the workshop will center around problems and solutions that emerge from team-based efforts.

  • Need help implementing solutions after the bootcamp? Bootcamp graduates will have access to our Health Design resources and community! 

  • REFUND POLICY:You have up to 30 days prior to the scheduled start-date of the workshop to request a full refund of the workshop payment.  No refunds will be awarded < 30 days prior to the scheduled start-date of the workshop.  All refunds will be provided as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within five (5) business days of receiving a refund request.


The Schedule

This 2-day session will provide you with an immersive experience in how to apply design thinking in a health care context. You will learn and be exposed to design skills that are relevant in the education of health care providers and the delivery of clinical care. The bootcamp will have group activities, team presentations, and exercises in prototyping and testing.

Day 1 workshop activities will run from 8:30am to 5:30pm, lunch is included.

Day 2 workshop activities will run from 8:30am to 5pm, lunch is included.
